14-Day Right of Withdrawal

When purchasing goods online as a consumer, you generally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal.

The withdrawal period begins on the day you, or a person designated by you, receives the goods.

If goods from the same order are delivered separately, the period begins when the final item is received.

Orders placed and paid for online and subsequently collected from our shop are covered by the normal 14-day statutory right of withdrawal.

How to Withdraw

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must clearly inform us of your decision before the withdrawal period expires.

Please include your order number and the items you wish to return, where possible.

You may use the standard withdrawal form at the bottom of this page, but this is not required.

Simply refusing delivery or failing to collect a parcel without informing us does not constitute valid notice of withdrawal.

Returning Goods

After informing us of your withdrawal, you must return the goods within 14 days.

You may also return goods in person at Astanga Yoga Studio, Fensmarkgade 1, 2200 Copenhagen N, by prior arrangement.

You are responsible for the direct cost of return shipping unless otherwise agreed.

You bear the risk of the goods during return transport.

Condition of Returned Goods

You may inspect the goods to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, as you would be able to do in a physical shop.

If goods have been handled or used beyond what is necessary for this purpose, and their value has been reduced, you may be responsible for the resulting loss in value.

Any deduction will be assessed individually based on the actual condition and resale value of the goods.

We recommend returning goods securely packaged and, where possible, with their original packaging.

Missing original packaging does not, in itself, cancel your statutory right of withdrawal.

Special Conditions for Returning Yoga Mats

Yoga mats are supplied new, rolled up and secured with their original paper band or other original packaging.

Important Information About Testing and Returns

You have a 14-day right of withdrawal. However, please be aware that yoga mats which have been tested or used may lose significant value, which may result in a deduction from your refund.

A yoga mat showing marks, skin residue, stains or other signs of use can normally no longer be sold as new. Where testing or use has caused a reduction in value due to handling beyond the legally permitted inspection, a deduction corresponding to the actual loss in value may therefore apply.

Removing the paper band or opening the packaging does not, in itself, cancel your right of withdrawal.

You can see, feel and try different mats before making your decision.

Tongue Scrapers and Hygiene Products

OraSweet tongue scrapers are supplied in sealed blister packaging.

For health protection and hygiene reasons, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply once the seal has been broken after delivery.

If the packaging seal remains intact, the normal 14-day right of withdrawal applies.

This does not affect your statutory rights regarding defective goods.

Partial Returns

We allow you to return individual items from an order while keeping the remaining items.

For partial returns, we will refund the price of the returned items, subject to any lawful deduction for diminished value.

Original delivery charges are generally not refunded for partial returns unless required by law or otherwise agreed.

Where a quantity discount or promotional offer applied, refunds will be calculated according to the disclosed offer conditions and applicable consumer law.

Refunds

If you withdraw from the entire purchase, we will refund all payments received from you, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered at checkout.

Additional costs resulting from choosing a more expensive delivery method will not be refunded.

Refunds will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your notice of withdrawal.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods or you have provided evidence of returning them, whichever occurs first.

Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method, without additional fees.

Defective Goods, Shipping Damage and Incorrect Items

Consumers have a statutory 24-month right to complain about defective goods under Danish law.

Please describe the problem and include your order number where possible. Photographs may be helpful.

You must notify us within a reasonable time after discovering a defect. Complaints made within two months of discovery are always considered timely.

Where a complaint is justified, we will cover reasonable and necessary return shipping costs.

If your order arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us as soon as possible at kundeservice@yogagear.dk. Please include photographs of the item and packaging where possible.

This does not limit your statutory consumer rights. See sections 9 and 10 of our terms and conditions.
